The City of East Point November 5, 2019 General Election season has officially begun. I am not one to make promises to residents that I will not work diligently with them, and Mayor and Council to keep. These are my Promises to Ward C residents.
- I will fight for the residents against any and all who fail to enforce the City Charter, Ordinances, Resolutions and Policies.
- I will work with Mayor and Council to amend or repeal any Ordinances, Resolutions or Policies that are not working to enhance the quality of life of the residents or the services provided by City.
- I will be a pit-bull when it comes to protecting the financial resources of the City.
- I will keep the residents in Ward C informed using Newsletters and town hall meetings every other month.
- As always, I will immediately respond to phone calls and emails.
I am already engaged in the fight to enforce the City Charter and Ordinances passed by Mayor and Council. My first campaign newsletter entitled, 2019 CAMPAIGN NEWSLETTER 1 provides direct quotes from City Council Minutes, and Agendas detailing all actions concerning the Electric Utility by Mayor and Council from November 5, 2012 to May 20, 2013. These City Council Minutes and Agendas are currently posted on the East Point City website under Minutes and Agendas.
